When you play THE FLOOR, we may collect limited session-based telemetry such as a randomly generated session identifier, timestamps, decision number, dilemma/event identifier, event category, role, choices, outcomes, rating, career P&L, decision duration, and other game-state information needed to understand how the game is used and improve it.
Our game collector may also receive technical information associated with a request, including your approximate country derived by Cloudflare, browser User-Agent, and HTTP referrer. We do not intentionally collect your IP address as part of the game telemetry described here.
This telemetry is not described as anonymous data. A session identifier is not itself your name, but the combination of technical and gameplay information may constitute personal data under applicable law.
THE FLOOR uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage, such as how far people get through the game and which parts are used most. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept” in the analytics consent notice. If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded.
You can reopen the cookie choice from the game and change your preference.
The game may use browser local storage to remember your analytics consent choice. This is used for the consent mechanism and is not used to create a player account.
If you use a feature that lets you send us a warehouse dilemma or other content, we may collect the information you submit, including the situation, options, outcome, level, and, if you provide them, your name and email address. We may also receive technical information such as country and browser User-Agent with that submission.
THE FLOOR is hosted and operated using Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare Workers and D1 for the game collector and stored game data. Google Analytics is used for analytics when you consent to it. These providers may process information on our behalf and may process data in countries other than your own.
We retain game telemetry and submitted content for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the game, unless a longer retention period is required by law. We may delete or aggregate data when it is no longer needed.
Because our service providers may operate infrastructure internationally, information collected through THE FLOOR may be processed outside the country in which you are located. Where applicable, we seek to use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
You can reject analytics consent and still play the game. You can also change your analytics preference using the “Cookie choice” control in the game.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. THE FLOOR is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
THE FLOOR may contain links to LOGIWEIGH or other external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
We may update this Privacy Policy as THE FLOOR changes. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes may also be highlighted within the game where appropriate.
